Not really much to report on today. This week has been slow. Not much going on. It's cold outside and now windy. I've got everything secured for winter now. Put the cover on the water cooler. Stashed everything in the shed. I still need to take stuff to the dump. I'll do that next week.
My Samurai is running better. I still need to get an air cleaner and spark plugs. I'm still waiting for the Title to come in the mail also. I can't register it until I get the Title. Kinda sucks.
BMG50 has been running well. No problems since I put the new relay's up. I guess the aluminum boxes did the trick. I guess I'll really find out next summer when it gets hot again.
I don't know if I've said anything about this yet, but Pipers has been sold. I'm crossing my fingers that I can keep my relay up there. The current owners have said that it will be alright with the new owners. So I guess it's all good. Otherwise I'll have to figure out a new place to put it.
Another thing that I might not have mentioned yet is that I'm writing a new inventory system on my own. I've decided that it's never going to get done by my current employer, so I'm going to do it myself. It's going to be an affiliate based system with private party sales via PayPal and CC orders. That should make me a few bucks. This way I'll make money on every customer that joins the system instead of just a set salary each month.
Oh yeah, one thing did happen to me. I found out finally that I do owe $2000 to the IRS. It seems that I had to pay Self Employment Tax on the $7000 that Jane made making skate parks. I just lumped it into regular tax. And the thing that really gets me is that Turbo Tax said that I would get back $1300 that year. So the IRS paid me that money and now I have to pay it back. I'll never use Turbo Tax again, that's for sure. Every year that I've used Turbo Tax, I have had to pay money back to the IRS later that year. I'll just do my own Taxes for now on, or hire someone to do them.
Anyway, I need to get back to work.
