I just received my replacement WRIP from NetNimble. He is using the Soekris boards now. Good deal! I was planning on using them before I got my setup with NetNimble. I even was thinking about building one for testing, or even replacing my current setup. The Soekris board uses a Flash Card for storage. This is the same board that BARWN is using. I'm very happy about this. Mostly because if I need to I can do anything I want with this box. There is a ton of documentation out there about it.

It's been a very long month so far. I've been working around the clock every day. Lots of stuff to do right now. New software version is due in June, new server setup due now, new ad system almost finished, plus tons of new accounts coming on the system. Even BMG50 is getting busy. I'm up to 44 customers now with new ones coming on all the time.

Things are defiantly looking good.

Yep, my new RackSpace server is all running. I copied over my software and it's working just fine. Woowoo!

Welp, Rackspace has finally got a working server for us. It has PGSQL 7.4 and PHP 3.4. I can now start coping over my stuff. No time to spare either. The 15th is coming up fast. I guess I should start coping over our stuff.

RackSpace fixes it.

Well, I finally got threw to someone at RackSpace. I've been moved to a new support team and all my problems are being solved.

I'm happy again.

What a week. I've been working my tail off. I'm going into overload. I'm working my butt off and keep running into problems.

We bought managed hosting from Rackspace. I can't get them to return my calls or "manage" my server. It has PHP 4.1 and Postgres 7.1 installed on it and I require PHP 4.3 and Postgres 7.4. Basically they told me I have to do it myself. But the big problem is that it's a RedCrap ES server. I can't even find PHP 4.3 for it. Now I'm worried that if I do install it, I will lose my support from them.

Next is that I'm setting up with Bulk Register. I send out email after email to their sales department for questions about their API and I don't get any answers. Great. Another vender that I have to chase down and beg for support.

On top of all that one of my relays has been locking up every night for about two months. Tonight it totally locked up and crashed. No remote rebooting it at all. I have to wait until morning to power cycle it. So back it goes to Net Nimble for replacement.

So far this has been a very rough year. I'm learning that I have to do everything myself if I want it to get done. I'm just going to have to become my own domain name registrar. I'll have to build my own web servers, and I'll have to build my own relays. Maybe that will solve my problems.

Oh, and on top of all that, my paycheck is late again so all my bills are going to be late and I'm going to have to pay even more next month.

I've spent a few days in my improved office and I still love it. Today Jane worked in my office to get me organized. She calls it, "Mission organization." I'm happy with what she is doing. Everything is in order and all stacked up. Lots more room in my room.

I'm having a hard time putting things on the walls. I don't want to cover up the cool paint. I hung my white board today and it was hard to find the perfect spot for it.

I still have a few more things to move back in. Lots of stuff was tossed out to make more space.

Yep, I'm very happy with my room.

I'm so happy to be back in my office. It was very cramped in the kitchen. Well, now it's time to move all my stuff back in and get back to work.

Today I will be moving back into my office! I'm going to put the floor in tonight at around 8pm. Then right after that I'll move all my stuff back in. Tomorrow I'll be back to work in my nice new office. I can't wait. It's going to be awesome!
