Welp, long days ahead of me now. I have 15 days to get as much Webentory v2 done as possible. I have another 15 days to get HMO4Cars database finished after that. Busy busy busy I will be. But I took time off tonight to get my Live Video web cam working. This is cool. I dont know if it is stabe or not, I have it running and I will see for how long.. heh. I've been looking for it for a while now and I have found it at sourceforge.net. Camserv.

Welp, back to hacking...

Its a really good deal. A deal I can't refuse. I'll take the job at Nicheware Inc. and live happy ever after.

I am so close to finishing that I am going to stay with CDC and finish it. I can not start something and then not finish it. It would be very wrong to flush the last whole year of my life in the last two month stretch. Thats just wrong. I have a chance to make a whole lot of money. But really it not the money that I'm so worried about. I am going to have my name on this. I'm going to be known for this. If it becomes successful then I want to be there.

Two months, thats all it will be to know if success is in my hand.

I know that my journal has been really korney lately. My thoughs have been wrote down for all to see. Each time I talk to one party I sway that way and each time I talk to the other, I sway that way. It was a very hard choice. I talked to a very good friend of mine, and he told me to think about what has happened. To sum it up, I did an online search for PHP and Sacramento. The first and only number I found I called. That is what led me into all of this. What would have happened if I called 10 numbers, or sent out my resume to 50 different companies? He told me that I could get a job any time I wanted, so why not wait the two months and see what will happen with CDC. I though about it and what he said was true. Its just two months and I did only make one phone call.

So, I'm going to work for the next 30 day, without sleep mind you, on the CDC projects and see what happens. If it does not happen, then at least I gave it a real chance and I gave it my all.

This is my final decision.

Now I've got a client/partner of CDC calling and telling me that they will match the offer from Nicheware if I stay, plus 500K shares in their company. All I did was make a phone call to see what was out there for me if I wanted to leave.

Help! I'm trapped in eBay and I can't get out!

All I wanted was to write code and be happy.

I had a long meeting yesterday. Very long. All day long. Wow. But I did get a few things done. I've got 30 days of heavy duty programming ahead of me. It may give me a very large return. I dont know yet. I still have to wait and see what happens. If things lag and move slowly, then I'm finished, but if things move to the speed I think is needed, then your looking at a very rich kid. Not that I'm only doing this to be rich. I would really like to just get enough to be happy.

Its hard to write about stuff, and leave out all the details. But, thats what I have to do. heh.

Ok, Plumb-Rite should be finished this week, and it will be in Votch's hands after that. Lets see if he can get it up online and running.. Yeah right.

V2 Webentory is going to be put on hold for the next 30 days to re-design and implement HMO 4 Cars. HMO 4 Cars will launch on June 30th, and the site should be done on the 15th. V2 Webentory should be finished around the 30th or June, prolly July 15th. By August I should know if things are going to work and I can deside to leave or stay then.

I just want to be a programmer, I dont want to deal with all this business junk.

Welp, I'm compiling the new PHP 4.0 RC2 right now. Nice to see it. I've been working with RC1 since it was out. I like PHP4.0 alot. There is a lot more functions and speed with it.

I've been on a roll today. I've got a lot of forms working already. Webnews, add inventory, and preferences is started. This stuff is starting to take form and be usable. The launch date is still on track with development.

I'm getting things ready to move to my new place. Packing boxes, getting a U-Haul ready. Getting people to help move boxes. Getting services turned off and at the new place turned on. I hate moving, but I'm glad to move from this place.

I did a lot on the search results page for the classics search today. I really like my new style of output. It looks really good and I think that it will turn heads. I've been working on input screens all day also. I hate doing input forms, but when you get them done, its sooo nice. The new Webentory looks good even without graphics.

Only 5 more days to go til I get my keys to my new place. I'm going to be sooo happy to get out of this dump I'm in. I tell you what, I should have moved from here a long time ago.

hmmm, what to do, what to do. Should I stay at CDC Inc, or should I go to Nicheware Inc... I've got to make a choice. Do I hold out and wait to see if CDC goes big, or do I jump ship and work for a real paycheck... Rob is pissed at Phil, and Phil is getting pissed and not doing very much work. The less Phil does, the more Rob gets mad. I'm kinda upset also at how long it take to get anything done. It takes weeks to get trivial things changed on websites. Not to mention that no one else in the company knows anything about programming. This new HMO thing is starting to pick up also. Every one that I have told about the other job offer tells me to take it and dump CDC and go for it.

That was my rant for the day, now I'm going to watch a movie and rest a bit. I like my video projector, it rooolz for movies.
