It has been windy and cold here. The temp. dropped from around 80 to 40 in just two days. Crazy. I hope this is the last cold of the season. I'm really ready for summer now.

For summer I'll have to buy an Air Conditioner. I dont think the one we have now will work. Its all old and rusted. I would like to get one that hooks into our central heat. That would be cool.

I still like my chair. I've been using it a lot. I finished Auto-Accessories last night and I have more bug fixes on the way. We are holding off on new features right now to work on getting the system cleaned up. We want to get it just right. Webentory is kicking ass right now also. We have some new sales coming on. It really helps to get more people selling. Rob is getting kinda tired of running around all over NorCal. I need to get out to a few places here in Reno and Carson City. I can take a look at the sales end of the company.

My dad and I went out the other day to price check wood for our chicken coop. It will cost about $250 or so after we are done. It will be an 8x8x8 coop with all the trimm'ns.

I'll get photos when we build it.

So I wake up this morning and find out my procmail is bouncing my email. I must have upgraded it and it broke. Stupid unstable, I should be using Testing right now, not unstable. I can't tell if its procmail or exim really, but when I remove my procmail file it works fine.

Anyway, back to work.

Today I received my new Chair! Its an Herman Miller Aeron. This is such a great chair. My old chair was giving me some problems with my back. It was too low and did not have the right lumbar support. Things are good here at the Kenoyers.

Jane got some stuff too. Yesterday she bought the fence and some planter beds for her garden. Once she gets them installed I'll have to get a photo for you guys. Jane really likes her garden. Her chickens are growing up also. They can now fly over the wall of their pen and sit on top of it. The will fly up to the top and look around then go back in. They are still chicken to fly out.

Things at work are going well also. I can't wait till I get a vacation though. Anyway, I'm out of here.

More SBC BS. They have something called a Equal Access Recovery Charge. I'm paying an extra $83 per month for my ISDN now. Not only is ISDN slow, I'm having to pay $360 for it. $195 to my ISP and $165 to SBC each month. I have invested $500 just to get setup with ISDN.

Well, I think its time to switch to plan 2. Satellite.

Nothing but headaches.

On the bright side, I now have hardware for just about any configuration from dial up to T1. Modem, ISDN, sDSL, aDSL, xDSL, and CSU/DSU/Router.

What has happened to Bank of America. I have had an account with them for over 10 years. I have used their Home Banking for over 5 years. Now they have been changing things. The Home Banking has been messed up for months now. Seems like every other day something does not work. I pay a bill and it does not get paid. I try to pay a bill and the bill pay software does not come up. Now I'm getting SPAM from them. I received the same SPAM from them three times. They have partnered with Turbo Tax and want me to do my taxes with them. I did my taxes two months ago. I even had it direct deposited to my account. You would think that they can target a bit better. Last month after I moved to Nevada I found out that I could not deposit money into my bank account because it was based in CA. They can not just transfer the account to Nevada though. I had to close my CA account and open a new account in Nevada. I also had to re-setup all my Home Banking preferences and add all my bill pay accounts to my new account. What a pain in the ass.

I think that BofA is going down hill. I guess its time to move on to another bank. Bad BofA....Bad...

Hey all. Things have been busy lately. Of course, things are always busy for me.

Tue. I drove out to SF for a meeting. Five hours each way. Wow. I spent about $80 on gas for that trip. Note to self. Use the Mazda next time.

Today I wrote code all day, but I didn't get much done. Jane is on vacation again, so I have been home alone all week. Seems that she is gone all the time now days with work and all.

Did I tell you guys that Jane bought some chicken... I've been taking care of them. Cleaning the cage. Feeding and watering them. I can't wait till the grow up and move out... hehe

Jeesh, its really hard to write when I'm falling asleep. I guess I'll go to bed now and finish tomorrow.

Well, Karl left town yesterday. Just as soon as he went out the door I grabbed his 21" monitor that he left and plugged it into my system. Now I'm running dual head Linux. Two 21" monitors, side by side (I wonder when he will be back.. :-).

I finished up some more features on Webentory last night also. Lots of upgrades. The other day I upgraded to the new software on the server (v3). This is a very much improved UI for the dealer admin. I did a lot of work to get it very easy to use. I'm still working on the demo and help system. I need to finish them real quick.

The weather has been really nice out. I look outside while I'm working and wish I was out in it. I think that Thur. I'll go to the skatepark again. The skatepark out in Gardnerville is really cool. I like it a lot. Speaking about skateparks, I need to get out back and start digging mine. Lots of work to do on it. Lots of things I want to build. I'm still not sure if I want to build the cement park first or the mini-ramp. Hmm....

Anyway, I have work to do, so I'm out of here.

This has been a fun weekend. Thur. we had a blast at the skate park. It was a kick ass day. Lots of cool stuff went down. Karl was even doing 5-0 grinds on the ledge.

Fri. night Jane's brother came over and was here for the weekend.

Sat. we had Johnny's birthday (late). We played PS2 all for a long time and had some cool head to head races. That was really fun. Then we watched some movies to finish off the night.

Today we went to the gun show. I bought 500 rounds of SKS(7.62x39) and 320 rounds of .308cal ammo. I also bought a 7.65 die set. Randy bought a .45cal pistol. Now we just need a good day to go out and shoot some of it. I can't wait.

Now I'm back home and ready to do some more work. I have got to get the new stuff up on the prod. server tonight. QA has gone very well. I dont think that there are any more bugs in the system. I guess I'll see tonight!

As I'm sitting here writing this, Jane, Karl and my dad are outside working in the garden. My dad got his rototiller running and is out there using it. Jane and Karl are pulling up shrubs and getting stuff ready for planting.

Its really cool. They look like they are having a really great time.

I'm sitting here working on Webentory. Fine-tuning the dealer admin and web site systems. Lots of work. I've been putting about 12 hours a day in for the last 3 weeks. I really want to be outside right now. But lots of work to do.

Tomorrow, we are all going to the skateboard park to have some much needed fun. I can't wait.

Anyway. I guess I'll get back to it then.

Liquid broke up the other day. Karl moved out of Davis to my house for a week, then he is moving to NC with my mom and sister. He will chill there for a while I guess. He is going to come back here around June, to get his stuff. Then its back to NC.

So Karl is here and we have been upgrading his systems to Linux. He has it on his laptop already. We are going to install it on his desktop also... I think. Linux rocks.

I have been programming all day today. My eyes are about to pop out. My brain hurts. I think I need to take a break, but I really have to get my work done tonight. Too much work to do, too little time to do it. The life of a programmer.

Well, this was just a status update...

The other day I thought it was summer. Today its a different story. Here is a photo of my Morris Traveller Woody, in the snow. Well, I can't wait for summer to get here. I have a lot of work to do on my Morris. It need to have the wood fixed up, transmission work, and a bit of bolts and nuts tightened down. I'll get there.

Jane is working on a beanbag for my dad's dog. (most spoiled dog in all of N. Nevada) Its made from old jeans. Jane is really good at making them. This is going to be a real good one.

Anyway...
