Another normal day for me today. I got some work done on Webentory. The new dealer admin is looking really hot. I can't wait to put it online for our clients. Its almost ready right now. It is in QA right now. If all goes well, it will be online tomorrow or Wed. I am currently breaking out the inventory search engine into modules, so that I can do different search parameters for different inventories. Inventories are searched in different ways. Vehicles are searched by year, make, model and price. Some inventories do not need year and make, so the search parameters must change. I am building a modular engine that I can just plug in the search definitions when I build the inventory type. This makes things much more customized for the clients, and easier to maintain for me.

The most important part is for the search to make sense to the end user.

Well, here it is. The new layout for my home page. What do you think? Its a Apple.com type layout. I kinda like it. I thought to myself, "I need a bigger graphic on my page to download." So there it is. Froger. The frog is from our apartment in Roseville. Jane captured it when she was washing the car. It would hop around our house and stick to everything. I took this picture when it was stuck to our dry erase board. That made it easy to put it on a web page.

I still want to fix the buttons above so they light up when you hover over them. I just need to make them HTML buttons and not just links in a table. I'll do it later. I'm sleepy right now.

Anyway, I hope you all like the layout. I'm going to bed.

Jane is working at Amazon.com now. Her first day is today. She gets to work with her mother. They get to car pool together to work. They even work in the same area. She is on the night shift, 4:30pm to 5:30am. I dont think that I can work those hours... well... I can on the computer.

Webentory is going well. I'm just about finished with the new dealer admin upgrades. Only four things to do. Then I have about four new features to add to the system. After that I get rest for a while until we get new features planed out to add. The system will be really good once I get this batch of features finished.

Jane and I had our 3rd anniversary the other night. It was a nice quiet evening at home. We watched a few movies and just hung out. Jane cooked a really nice dinner, and we had some cheese cake for desert. Three years already. Can you believe it? It sure does not feel like three years to me. Time sure flies when your having fun.

Well, I guess I'll do some work while Jane is at work.

Its a new month. Things are settling in. I have been hard at work on Webentory. Jane has been hard at work with her garden. Our home is getting more lived in, and better each day. I finally got my wires ran under the house for my network. I have the laptop setup in the living room, hooked into the projector and stereo. Its cool.

Jane got the job at Amazon.com. She will be starting soon. That will give us some more income to pay our bills. She is very happy about getting the job. I hope she likes it. She is going to be working at night, graveyard shift.

I have been kicking ass doing Webentory upgrades. The new dealer admin is looking really great. It should be done very soon. It will give our clients a lot more power, and it will be a lot easier to use. We are adding realestate to it. Now we need to go out and get some realestate customers.

Well, I need to get back to work.

Things are going great. I have my new projector lamp installed and my projector has a shelf to sit in now. Watching DVD's from Netflix.com is back into full effect. Ahh, the life.

The next thing I have to do to my house is get my computer room done. Still need to build my server rack pedestal, and get the wiring done. I want to run some cat5 into different rooms, and a floor electrical plug below my server.

Jane has been working on her garden. She is clearing the brush and getting it ready to setup the planting lots. Its a really big garden. I sure hope she has a lot of fun in it.

I've been very busy with Webentory lately. I'm refactoring the dealer admin system. I got a whole bunch of good ideas from the BofA Home Banking site. I'm going to move things around and add a whole bunch of new stuff. That is going to happen this week, so I will be very busy with it.

Anyway, thats all I have now. I am going to finish my new shelf.

Its been a few days here at our new home in Nevada. We are still very happy to be here. Its been so quiet and peaceful.

I ordered a new projector lamp to replace the burned out one so we can watch movies. It should be here in a few days. I setup the entertainment system last night. We tested the sound levels today. I cranked it up to about 45%. It was very very very loud in the house, but outside it was quiet. So we will be able to watch movies and hear what is going on with out disturbing anyone. This is a real plus.

I have my computers all setup and running right now. I still need to build my computer center in the computer room. That will not happen for a while yet. I need to figure out how to do it all. I have a plan, so I need to put it down on paper or draft it on the computer.

I was so happy the other day because I got to take the ugly shell off my truck! I have wanted to do that since I got it. We are all done moving and dont need to protect our stuff from rain and snow. The truck looks much better. My dad gave me a toolbox for it, so I can put all my tools and stuff in it. I like driving it.

We still have lots of boxes to unpack. We also have some of the house to finish painting. We still need to put wood in the guest bedroom. And the house needs a new roof. Lots of things still to do to make this house better. I think we will start up in the summer after we pay off some of the credit cars.

Jane has been cleaning the place up for company coming at the end of the month. She has been fixing up her art area, and guest bedroom. Painting tables and chairs. Our guests are going to love it.

Well anyway, I've typed a whole bunch. I guess I'll save some stuff for next time.

I'm here! I got my ISDN setup, and I tested it out. Its slow... but faster than a modem.

I got my email and web server running so I think that email is back and working. It may take a few days for things to stabilize.

Well, the house is really kick ass. The floors are really cool to roll on with my chair. I'm very happy now!

I think its bed time now. Good night.

Well, tonight is the night. I will be offline in about an hour. I will be back online at about 10pm tomorrow night if all goes well. ISDN here I come.

Well, only a few more days left and I'm out of here. Off to my new home in Nevada. Out of lala land (ca). I can't wait!

Just as soon as I get my ISDN router, I'm out of here. Jane can not wait also. We want to leave on Wed, but I think that is the day my router gets here and I dont know why UPS will arrive. It could be 5pm for all I know.

Things are looking really good at the house. Jane will post the rest of the floor pictures soon. The floor looks great! I've got my plans for the skateboard park in the back yard brewing in my head.

I'm backing up all my servers and getting ready to unplug them soon. I will be without email for a few days/weeks until things get moved over to my new internet.

Well, I found a ISDN router for $30 on eBay. From NetGearStore. It should be here by next week. I hope it does not come when I'm gone. Anyway, that part is done, so I just have to plug it in and off I go.

I've been doing a lot of work on Webentory this week. We have lots of bugs fixed on the system. Also new features added. There is just a few more features to add and we will be done.

I'm working on coupons right now.

Jane has been busy all day cleaning up the apartment getting us ready to leave. She does such a good job. I'm sure glad I have Jane around to take care of me.

Anyway, back to work.
