All seven aboard -- six Americans and Israel's first astronaut -- are presumed dead.

I got the chance to get over to the parts store to test for signal. It works! This is very good news. Now I can put my repeater online and get more customers. I can tell you that I am very happy right now.

Last night I switched over to my new antenna on the tower. The switch over should have been seemless. I think it was. I had one customer call me up and tell me that his connection shot up to 80% signal strength. He was very happy about that. I am too. Things seem to be just fine except that my ISDN keeps loosing its connection for some reason. I think its that MSSQL worm that is doing it. Usually at night or early morning. I hope it quits soon. I hate it.

Today was another very busy day. I got a lot of things done, but still have tons more. I was too busy to go out to the parts store today. I'm going to try again tomorrow. Maybe I can get a signal out there and setup another repeater. It sure has taken a long time. 6 months to get my company started up. I have my billing program almost done. I need to launch it and get the billing going. I'm thinking that I can get that done this weekend. The only part left to do is the date check and bill on the same day as the customer signed up.

I did a whole lot today. I got right to work this morning and finished a whole bunch of work for my "real" job. At lunch time I cemented the tie down for my guide wire on my antenna tower. Later I rearranged my office. I moved my desk so I can look out the window better. I also will not get the sun on my monitor in the morning. I totally cleaned my office too. Tonight I installed my neighbors D-Link DWL-120 wireless USB adapter. Now they are totally signed up with BMG50. Things went really well today.
P.S. I'm really impressed with that D-Link. Its as small as a credit card, but it has a really good range. With the Linksys I could not get a signal at all. Now if only they made a USB with a detachable antenna. D-Link says that they are making one right now. That will rule!

Well, the tower survived its first wind. It was very windy this morning. I thought for sure that it would be swaying, but it didn't move a bit. I don't even have all the guide wires attached yet. Well, that takes a load off.
P.S. Ray, it did whistle when the wind blew.

Wow, what a day. This morning I found my server offline again due to that stupid worm going around. It knocks out my router and Linux system. My other server was off line due to the air conditioner stopped working and the CPU's over heated. Then to top it all off, I have been fighting with my server trying to install either PPPoE or PPTP servers. I am trying to get some kind of login process for my WISP. There is just no simple docs anywhere on the net that tells how to install it. And the ones I have found do not seem to work. I have configured it exactly like the HOWTO says, but it just does not work. Right now I'm doing a PPTP install again. I think I'm going to use PPTP because it does not need any drivers for Windows or Mac, and also PPPoE does not work on Mac Wireless. But anything is better than nothing.
Well, I guess I have another 5 hours to go.

My router was crashed a few times today due to a stupid internet worm going around crashing MSSQL servers. It also crashes Netgear ISDN routers. On the news tonight I saw that it took out half of Bank of America also. Another reason that I do not use Microsoft software.

What a great day we had today. First we went to the skateboard park. That was really fun. Then we went to Mac-O-Rama. They really have a nice little shop there. Really nice people working there. They have really good prices and trainning classes. Next we went to a skateboard shop so that I could buy some new shoes. What was cool about this skateboard shop was that it has a half-pipe in it. After I bought my shoes Jane and I skated it. I sure love to skate wood half-pipes. Just something about it that brings out my best skateboarding. Anyway it was a really fun day. Tonight we have movies and skateboard videos!
