Well, I'm still waiting to hear from Piper on the power situation. They take so long to get back to me on stuff. I'm about ready to put a car battery up there and just run off solar or something. Gesh.

Welcome to BMG50.com, caller.

I just downloaded the “leaked” version of Safari. Version 67 I guess is what it is. Apple has pulled the plug on their Seed program because of the leaked software. But, I would like to say that this is a very good release. They have fixed many of my complaints. The render speed is a whole lot faster now. Tabbed browsing is working. Auto Fill, if you use it, is working. Nothing that I wanted has been added. But I do think that it is as fast as Camino now. I'll use it today and see how I like it.
I setup the repeater at Pipers yesterday. It went real smooth. No problems. Got the connection first try. Good signal. Only one problem...where to plug the power in at. There is a power outlet up there, but it is not live. I'm waiting for the owner to have someone check it out. I guess Monday It'll be a live system.
From up on the roof I can see all the homes down town. It looks like its going to be a really good location. I just hope things all work out well.
So I finally get Dish TV and last night SciFi showed the last episode of Farscape. Great. Whatever. Then I notice that SciFi has all these non-scifi shows. Crossing over? What is that! Lame.
Woo hoo! Pipers agreed to let me put a BMG50 repeater on their building. Now I can cover the downtown area. Dave will be very happy to hear this. I need to get over there and get that setup.
I just got back from checking out the roof at Pipers. Looks like it's going to be really easy to setup the repeater. There is a power outlet right on the roof. I can have it all setup with in a few hours. This is great!
It's hot again today. Clear sky's and kinda warm. Today I swapped out the batter on my repeater. It's working really well on this new batter system. The solar panel keeps it running well. It's a small panel so I still have to swap the batteries about once a week or so. For $300 I can get a panel that will keep the system charged all the time.
Welp, it's winter again. After a week of really nice 70 degree weather, now it's it's cold again. Expecting it to be warm, I gave myself a hair cut. Well, my ears are cold now. Darn it.
Yesterday was really nice. Hot most of the day. I was doing a network install for a customer all day, so I didn't get to play at all. But, number 6 is online, only 9 more to go and I'll have my T1. Woo Hoo!
Wow. It's a rainy, cold, dark, and windy day today. I kind of like it. Time to relax and look out the window. It's just going to be a lazy day. Hot coco type of day. Zone out kind of day.
On a side note. The rain and weather is not effecting my wireless at all. I like wireless.
So I did it. I ordered Dish TV. Top 50 plus local chanels. It will be installed on the 20th. I canceled my NetFlix subscription because I could not get any movies that I wanted. I guess they have too many members now. I'm helping them out by quiting my service so other members will be one person closer to getting new releases. Me, I'll be ok with Dish TV, even though I only watch a few shows a week. I look forward to seeing that Far Scape show on the SciFi channel. I've heard lots about it, but have never seen it yet.
