Wow... My first CC scam. Some company running WWW.KAGIVO.COM charged my CC $7.14. I visited their web site and it went offline while I was there. I could not understand what their product is, but I'm sure I did not order it. They must have stole my CC number from an online store somewhere. Good thing it was only seven bucks, but bad thing I'll probably never get it back. They probably got thousands...
BMG50
Welcome to BMG50.com, caller.

My mailer went out today! I've had three call and two sales already! Woo hoo! Only one problem...I messed up on my equipment order. I thought I ordered three bridges and I only ordered one. Now I have to call people back and push them to next week for the installs. Ugh... I need to get organized.
Boy, I had a hard time last night. I sold a BMG50 CPE to a customer last night, and I just could not get it to work. It would reboot over and over. I am using the D-Link 900AP+ in it. I guess there is something wrong with it. I ordered a D-Link 810+. It's an ethernet bridge. It should work much better. I put the 900AP+ into client access mode, but it just did not work. I don't know if it there is something wrong with it, or if it just won't connect to my Prism2 routers. I know that the Linksys WET11 works. It's an ethernet bridge. The D-Link is about $20 cheaper, so I'm going to try that. I'm trying to get my CPE's as close to $150 as I can. Right now its $185.
On a side note. The customer gave me a Fluke 23 Multi-meter. It's a PacBell one. It's very nice, so I'm gong to hook this guy up. I'm sure this is a $100 multi-meter. Very nice of him.
Anyway, back to work....
Well, POP3 is alive. That concludes the relay sites for Silver Springs. Now that I have the last relay site on, I can start signing up the people that requested service in that area. I have around 5-6 people right now that are ready to go. So I have some calling to do tomorrow.
John Gruber's Much Ado About Click-Through hits the nail on the head. Although, I believe that the click-through should be a System Preferences option. Some people like it, some do not. I for one, do not like click through.
I did a bit of reformatting to my home page. New header, new colors, and moved the links. I also fixed a few MSIE bugs that I found today. I kinda like the new orange for the header and footer. It's a bit more bold than before. There is not much else to change on my home page because it's perfect already. ;-)
And not forgetting... It will validate using the W3C XHTML 1.0 Specifications.

Everything is going to plan!
I should be making profit by July....hopfully. I really can't wait to get the T1. I'm so excited! Finally, after a year and a half...High speed internet. It's been so hard to use this slow ISDN for so long. I just hope this T1/Frame Relay is as fast as a real T1. I may have to upgrade if it isn't, but it has got to be a lot faster than my ISDN.
Anyway, thats the happs.
I'm getting so sick of working around bugs in MSIE. It's driving me crazy. There is this one real nasty bug that will stop the browser from loading all graphics. If I resize a Photoshop JPEG image using Imagemagick, then MSIE will get stuck loading that JPEG. It will not load any images from the server until it's restarted.
Why do people still use MSIE? It's Microsoft, non-standards, garbage programming.
Ahh, I found the source of the problem. It's the meta data that Photoshop saves in their JPEG images for the preview. It blows up MSIE very well. To fix it, use 'Save For Web'. I guess this will nuke the meta data.
OK, here's the latest on the WRIP's. When I reboot my server, they forget their default gateway and I have to reconfigure them to make them work again. I have let Net Nimble know, will they fix it? I don't know. I wish I had access to fix it myself, but I don't. So I'll have to wait for them.
This caused me 30 minutes of downtime just because I wanted to upgrade RAM on my server to keep it from locking up.
