What a week. Solid PHP3 programming for over 15 hours a day for a whole week. My ass is flat now from sitting. I did get out on saturday and skate Modesto park, but after skating Alameda park, Modesto's sucks. I've been programming solid more than 90 hours, and I'm still going. Wow, just tells me that this is really what I want to do. I've always knew that I wanted to be a programmer, since I was 13. Just took too long to get a real programming job, hmm.. 16 years to get things moving. Ok, so I'm slow.

Anyway, I've got a lot of stuff done, but I still have a lot more to do. So, I'm out of here!

Well, just had a 20 hour c0ding session. It was not hard stuff, just a lot of typing. But now I have my database online and ready to serve requests. Its time to c0de some pages to request data. I've also got to make some admin stuff and some inventory update scripts. Perl here I come. blaa.

Time for a bike ride.

Oh, one note: Why is it that nobody posts anything interesting to my online journal. Its always something stupid. I guess the people that post here have no imaginations.

Well, I redid the look of this page real quick. I though it was getting ugly, so I change it. Only took about one hour. Now its kinda cool... Really I think that its missing something.

Damm electricity in my spartment is messed up. All the lights are flickering and stuff all the time. I had to plug my computers into sockets in another room with extention cords. Sucks when they flicker, its like there is something wrong with my eyes. I think its just the circitbreaker or something. (ggrr too late at night to spell correctly)

Ok, I've got about 80 hours of work starting Monday, so I'm going to be very busy. I'll try to keep these pages updated with the latest news and such, but I can't say for sure. Project X is going to make me rich....I hope.

Welp, I'm going to be on vacation from the 2nd til the 6th from Internet-Appliance.com, so you will prolly not see me on the WebCam there. All well. Oh, by the way, things maybe looking up in my world soon.

Arg... Oracle is so hard to figure out. Geesh I'm going back to MySQL for the time being until I can get a class on learning Oracle. This is just wack. I like MySQL anyway. Its easy, open and stable. Its used on lots of internet sites like slashdot.org, freshmeat.net just to name a few. I've got the database tables setup already in MySQL now so I just have to figure out how to get the data into them. I'll do that today.

On the home front everything is going just fine. I got some new stuff for my bike...I like my bike. I'm still looking for Sun Ultra Classic software so I can get the old system running. I'm learning DNS and BIND at work, and I'm reading The Practice of Programming by Brian Kernighan and Rob Pike. Btw, my books to read are starting to stack up. I just need to learn to read faster.
